Your paperwork, inbox and errands, handled end to end.
Receipts, statements, contracts, the downloads folder. Chat assistants ask you to paste the text in. Sentinel opens the files on your Mac, does the work, and leaves the result where you will look for it. It reads PDFs, spreadsheets, photos and email exports, files the results where you keep them, and lists anything it could not place so you only check the exceptions. Your rules decide which folders it may touch.
$ sentinel run "sort ~/Downloads, file the receipts, total them by month" Reading 214 files … Matched 61 receipts · 12 statements · 3 duplicates Moved into ~/Documents/Finance/2026/01 … 10 Wrote receipts-2026.csv · totals.md
How it fits together
Three pieces, one platform
The same model, the same rules and the same runtime, pointed at this kind of work.
Works where your files are
Reads and writes on your own Mac: PDFs, spreadsheets, photos, email exports and the downloads folder. Nothing has to be uploaded, pasted or retyped anywhere.
Asks before it acts
You choose which folders and apps it may touch, and whether it may delete anything. Anything outside those rules is off, and every action lands in an audit log you can read.
Picks up where it left off
Long jobs keep a plan with every step written down. Close the laptop halfway and it resumes from the last finished step, not from the beginning.
Across the work
The chores a chat window hands back
Paperwork, the inbox and trip planning all start with files a chat assistant cannot open. Switch tabs to see each one.

Find every invoice in this year’s mail export and total them by sender.
Asks you to export each invoice and paste the text in, then offers to add the amounts up for you by hand.
Opens the export on your Mac, finds 57 invoices from 14 senders, removes 2 duplicates and saves invoices-by-sender.csv next to the export.
The difference
Admin that finishes itself
Each file is read, sorted and accounted for, with a short note on anything it could not place, so you check the exceptions instead of the whole pile.
FAQ
Questions, answered
Does my data leave my Mac?
No. Sentinel runs on your machine and works on the files in place. Nothing is uploaded to us.
Can it delete things?
Only if your rules allow it. By default it moves and copies, and every change is in the audit log so you can undo it.
What file types does it read?
PDFs, Office documents, spreadsheets, images with text, email exports, CSV and plain text.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. You describe the job in plain words. The plan and the result are shown in plain words too.
What does it cost?
Free to start with 25 turns. Pro is $20 a month for everyday use.
Bring the pile you’ve been putting off.
See how Sentinel handles it, inside rules you set.
