Privacy Policy

This policy explains what we collect when you use getsentinel.ai, the waitlist, the beta and the Sentinel software, and what we do with it. Short version: we collect as little as the Service needs, we keep your sessions on your machine or in a container that is only yours, and we never train on your data.
1. What we collect

2. What we never do
- We never use your sessions, files, outputs or memory to train models, ours or anyone else's.
- We never sell or rent personal data.
- We never read your sessions unless you ask us to for support, and then only the parts you point us to.
- The website has no advertising trackers and no third-party analytics scripts.
3. Where processing happens
The self-hosted and desktop versions process everything on hardware you control; we receive nothing unless you enable error reports. The hosted version runs each account in its own container. Prompts you send to third-party models (for example hosted language-model providers you choose or that your plan uses) are processed by those providers under their terms; we choose providers that do not train on API traffic.
4. Legal bases
Where privacy law requires one: performing our contract with you (running the Service), our legitimate interests (security, preventing abuse, improving reliability), legal obligations (tax, accounting) and your consent (the waitlist, optional error reports), which you can withdraw at any time.
5. Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, export your memory and sessions, or delete everything. Deleting an account removes its container and data within 30 days, backups within 90. Email hello@getsentinel.ai from your account address. You can also complain to the data-protection authority where you live.
6. Cookies and local storage
The site stores one preference in your browser (light or dark theme). The app stores a sign-in token. Neither is used for tracking.
7. Security
Access is token-based and encrypted in transit. The private build is reachable only inside your own private network. Report security issues to hello@getsentinel.ai; we answer within 48 hours.
8. Children
The Service is not for people under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
9. Changes
We will announce material changes by email or on this page 14 days before they apply.
